Frequently asked questions

Do you guys do piercings?

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a piercing artist, however we would love to have one!

Do you guys take walk-ins?

Yes, we do! Walk-ins are first come, first serve, so it's best to book ahead of time if you can. Otherwise, we keep a waiting list, and if we can fit you in that day, we'll give you a call.

Do you guys tattoo minors?

Some shops in Arkansas will tattoo minors with parental consent and a birth certificate, however, at our shop, we only tattoo  persons  who are 18 years or older.

Can I go swimming after I get a tattoo?

Please, please, don't.. not for at least 2 weeks, depending on how long it takes for your ink to heal. Swimming and bathing while the tattoo is fresh can cause a nasty infection. Showering is fine, but do not soak it for a prolonged period of time. We recommend waiting until your tattoo has begun the peeling phase before you go swimming. If your tattoo is going to be exposed to sunlight, make sure you use sunblock to protect it. DO NOT use sunblock on your tattoo until it is fully healed.

Do you guys have a shop minimum or do you charge by the hour?

The answer is both! Our shop minimum is $70, and for larger pieces, we charge by the hour. Breaks are not included in the total cost of your tattoo.

How long does it take?

It depends on a lot of things including how well you sit, how many breaks you need, how detailed your design is, whether you choose color or black and grey, the condition of your skin, and so on. Our best answer : It takes what it takes. Our goal is to make sure you leave with the best quality artwork we can give you.

What kind of needles do you use?

All of the supplies we use are disposable/single-use.

Are there any medical conditions that may prevent me from getting a tattoo?

If you have diabetes or any medical condition that may affect your blood circulation or your immune system, please consult your physician prior to tattooing. We cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant, sunburned, or if you have hemophilia, hepatitis, or HIV.

Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to tattoo ink?

It is possible, however, this is out of our control. Unless, you are aware of an allergy before hand, there is no way of knowing if you will have a reaction or not. Every skin type reacts differently to different types of ink. We do not assume responsibility for how your body may react to the inks or bandages.

Does it hurt?

Yes.

Do you do white ink tattoos?

Sorry, we do not.

Will you tattoo fingers or toes?

It's case by case. Tattoos do not age well in these areas, so we try to avoid them, especially the sides of the fingers and feet.

How can I prepare for my tattoo session?

You must be sober. It's best to show up well rested, fed, and hydrated. Dress appropriately to accommodate the tattoo placement. Some prefer to bring a pillow or blanket for extra comfort during longer tattoo sessions. And remember, breathe and relax. (:
