How to Book an Appointment
It's best to contact us and set up a free consultation with the artist in person, or through The Cosmic Squid Facebook messenger depending on the design if you live out of town. We typically do not hold consultations over the phone. These are done best in person if possible so proper sizing can be determined and price can be better estimated.
The artist will then gather design details and reference images from you during the consultation so that we are all on the same page and fully prepared for your appointment. If we have walk-in availability, depending on the size of the design, sometimes the appointment can be booked for that same day, however, most of the time we try to schedule ahead, especially for bigger tattoos.
After your consultation, your artist will be able to give you an estimate price range to budget for. A set price is not usually determined until after the tattoo is finished. Our rate is time-based and dependent on the details of the tattoo design. The shop minimum is $70.
In order to secure your tattoo appointment, we ask for a $50 deposit before the artist will proceed with drawing up the design. Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the tattoo at the end of your session.
A final tattoo design will not be presented until the day of the appointment. Your artist can make any changes or adjustments necessary at the time of your appointment.
